APC UK 2027 Campaign Council Inaugurated

The APC UK Chapter has formally inaugurated its 2027 Campaign Council, signalling the commencement of a coordinated diaspora mobilisation ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 General Elections.

The council has been established with a clear political objective: to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and secure victory for APC candidates across the country.

Speaking on the mandate of the council, the leadership emphasised that APC UK will work in close coordination with the APC leadership and the Presidential Campaign Council in Nigeria, taking the party’s message to Nigerians across the country and canvassing support for the APC at the grassroots.

Hon. Olumuyiwa Adesua was inaugurated as the Director-General of the APC UK 2027 Campaign Council, while Hon. Feyisayo Ajayi was inaugurated as Secretary. The Other portfolios and responsibilities will be allocated at the council’s forthcoming meeting.

The inauguration represents a significant step in APC UK’s preparations for the 2027 elections, with the council expected to drive strategic mobilisation, diaspora engagement, campaign coordination and grassroots support.

The chapter congratulated all members of the newly inaugurated council and expressed confidence that their collective efforts will contribute to a successful campaign and decisive victory for President Tinubu and APC candidates across Nigeria in 2027.

APC UK Leicestershire Comes on Board

The All Progressives Congress (APC) UK Chapter has formally inaugurated the APC UK Leicestershire Branch, strengthening the party’s political structure and diaspora mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections. The inauguration, held on 29 August 2026 at Beaumont Leys, Leicester, attracted APC leaders, members and supporters from across the United Kingdom and the wider diaspora.

The chairman of APC UK and the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (APC-CDC), Hon. Tunde Doherty, described the party’s constitution as the foundation of its unity, discipline and political activities. Citing Articles 9 and 12, he charged the new executives and members with embracing the ideals of the APC and actively participating in the party’s 2027 campaign and mobilisation efforts.

Distinguished guests delivered goodwill messages, encouraging members to take an active role in the party and maintain strong links with APC activities back home in Nigeria.

Hon. Waheed Masha, APC Chairman in Atlanta, USA, congratulated the newly inaugurated executives and urged them to take the message and achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians and the wider world.

Other leaders who delivered goodwill messages included Hon. Gbenla Adebayo, Chairman of the APC Oyo State Caucus; Hon. Akeem Bolarinwa, Deputy Chairman, APC Birmingham & Walsall; Dr Ade Sonola, Deputy Chairman, APC Coventry; and Prince Fola Olagbegi, the Chairman of APC Peterborough & Cambridgeshire.

Dr. Suleiman Suleiman of APC Manchester also encouraged the new executives to broaden the party’s membership and ensure greater participation from people of Northern extraction.
