Visit to Hon. Gbadegeshin

Chairman of the APC UK Chapter, Hon. Tunde Doherty, accompanied by Chairman Emeritus, Dr. Philip Idaewor, paid a visit to the former Financial Secretary of the APC UK Southwest States Caucus, Hon. Gbadegeshin.

Joining the visit were Elder Olukoga, Deputy Chairman South, Hon. Olumuyiwa Adesua; Woman Leader, Hon. Susan Jegunmah; and Deputy National Secretary, Hon. Ayokunle Agunbiade.

Hon. Gbadegeshin, an efficient member of the chapter and a member of the Oyo State Caucus, expressed his happiness during the visit, which greatly uplifted his spirits. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the team for their thoughtfulness and presence.

Hon. Tunde Doherty led prayers during the visit, asking for Hon. Gbadegeshin’s swift and full recovery.

Nigerian Diaspora Investment and Cultural Summit 2024

The All Progressives Congress (APC) UK Chapter, in collaboration with key business stakeholders and partners, is pleased to announce its upcoming Business Summit in Birmingham, aimed at boosting foreign direct investments (FDI) into Nigeria.

This summit is part of our ongoing efforts to align with Nigeria’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, which seeks to create a robust environment for economic growth and development.

The Nigerian Diaspora Investment & Cultural Summit 2024, scheduled to take place in Birmingham on the 4th December – 7th December 2024, will gather leading figures from the business community, entrepreneurs, investors, and economic experts to explore the vast opportunities that Nigeria offers across a range of sectors, including agriculture, technology, infrastructure, and energy.

The Chairman of the APC UK Chapter, Hon. Tunde Doherty joined family members, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate the 70th birthday of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, the former Governor of Ondo State in a private reception held in his honour in London UK last week.

Hon. Doherty extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Mimiko, recognizing his remarkable contributions to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole. He praised Dr. Mimiko’s dedication to public service and his impact on the healthcare and education sectors during his time in office.

Hon.Tunde Doherty, who also doubles as the chairman of APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (APC-CDC) used the opportunity to welcome ‘Iroko’ back to the camp of the Progressives, the All Progressives Congress APC.

The meeting brought together members and party faithful from across the UK, demonstrating our strong commitment to the values and vision of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During the meeting, key issues affecting the party and our community were discussed in depth, with insightful contributions from members.

We also reviewed our recent achievements, set strategic goals for the future, and reinforced our collective dedication to advancing the party’s mission both within the UK and in support of our counterparts in Nigeria.

The Humanitarian Welfare Committee and Publicity Committee of the Chapter were inaugurated during the meeting.

The success of this meeting underscores the unity and strength of our chapter, and we are confident that the outcomes of our discussions will have a positive impact on our ongoing efforts.

The All Progressives Congress United Kingdom Chapter has launched its massive campaign to reach out to Nigerians directly on the ground and social media platforms worldwide on the Theme/hashtag #PatienceNotProtest.

Hon. Tunde Doherty, the Chairman of the chapter and committee of Diaspora chairmen made the remarks in Abuja on Tuesday afternoon at the Party Headquarters where he had gone to address the party leaders and reach out to Nigerians on the streets.

We say NO to the destruction of lives and properties, We say NO to the disruption of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government. Let us Be Patient as our President continues to turn the wheels of our country towards Prosperity and abundance.
