It was a glorious night for Hon. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, at the APC UK Chapter Dinner Award Night, held in London over the weekend.
Hon. Ayinde represented the Governor of Lagos State, HE Babajide Sanwo-Olu and he graciously accepted the award on his behalf for Outstanding Progressive Governor, recognizing the Governor’s exemplary leadership and commitment to progressive governance.
In addition to this, Hon. Tayo Ayinde himself was celebrated with the Diaspora Patriot Award, a well-deserved honour for his steadfast motivational support and contributions to fostering progressiveness within the Diaspora community.

Chairman of the APC UK Chapter, Hon. Tunde Doherty, accompanied by Chairman Emeritus, Dr. Philip Idaewor, paid a visit to the former Financial Secretary of the APC UK Southwest States Caucus, Hon. Gbadegeshin.
Joining the visit were Elder Olukoga, Deputy Chairman South, Hon. Olumuyiwa Adesua; Woman Leader, Hon. Susan Jegunmah; and Deputy National Secretary, Hon. Ayokunle Agunbiade.
Hon. Gbadegeshin, an efficient member of the chapter and a member of the Oyo State Caucus, expressed his happiness during the visit, which greatly uplifted his spirits. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to the team for their thoughtfulness and presence.

The Chairman of the APC UK Chapter, Hon. Tunde Doherty joined family members, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate the 70th birthday of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, the former Governor of Ondo State in a private reception held in his honour in London UK last week.
Hon. Doherty extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Mimiko, recognizing his remarkable contributions to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole. He praised Dr. Mimiko’s dedication to public service and his impact on the healthcare and education sectors during his time in office.
Hon.Tunde Doherty, who also doubles as the chairman of APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (APC-CDC) used the opportunity to welcome ‘Iroko’ back to the camp of the Progressives, the All Progressives Congress APC.
